Its policy and activities are mainly focused on expansion and facilitation of the international networking and relationships between the institute and other international and regional scientific organizations.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Main responsibilities<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To plan and hold international and regional congresses, seminars, workshop and short courses and degree-based courses at the institute<\/li>\n<li>To make international correspondence<\/li>\n<li>To follow-up the institute\u2019s membership to related international bodies including WHO, UNICEF and other organizations<\/li>\n<li>To make necessary arrangements for travels (visa, transportation, accommodation, etc.) of invited speakers, consultants, visiting scholars and faculty member\u2019s sabbaticals<\/li>\n<li>To find external funds and grant<\/li>\n<li>To search for and order new publications<\/li>\n<li>To assist investigators to design and writing-up internationally funded and joint research projects<\/li>\n<li>To provide information on available international events to the institute\u2019s researchers<\/li>\n<li>To provide links to useful websites related to food and nutrition sciences<\/li>\n<li>To asses eligibility of candidates for patriating in international events<\/li>\n<li>To initiate ties with Iranian scientists working
