Department of Cellular and Molecular Nutrition

Cellular and molecular Nutrition is an approach which aims to understand nutrition-related cellular processes, regulatory mechanisms and pathways in order to propose effective recommendations for disease prevention and health promotion.

The department of Cellular and Molecular Nutrition is involved in teaching undergraduate and post-graduate levels and also research projects applying molecular biology techniques to answer nutrition-related questions. The aims of this discipline is the study of nutrients and dietary compounds on physiological and pathophysiological processes at cellular and molecular levels.
