Educational Laboratories

Students at different levels including bachelor, master and doctoral must fulfill part of their training in educational laboratories, located in the faculty. Educational laboratories including six separate labs equipped for 16-20 students for each session, are as follows:

  • Laboratory of basic chemistry for general, organic, analytical and physical chemistry courses
  • Laboratory of biochemistry, for fundamental and metabolic biochemistry courses as well as advanced research laboratory methods
  • Laboratory of chemistry and food analysis
  • Laboratory of food quality control
  • Laboratory of biology, physiology
  • Laboratory of physics
  • Laboratory of microbiology
  • Animal lab

Pilot Plant

The mission of the Pilot Plant is to create an executive and practical platform to expand the relationship between industry and university in line with the development of applied research in food industry-related topics, as well as practical training of students and helping to improve the level of their applied knowledge, especially in graduate studies.
