Introduction

Preparation of cultural calendar, coordination of culture hour programs, holding various national and religious ceremonies, coordination and holding of cultural council meetings, coordination of activities of student organizations and scientific associations, coordination of matters related to the sports hall and physical education unit of the faculty, holding workshops educational activities, liaison between the faculty counseling center and the university, investigation and follow-up of students’ problems, presentation of brochures related to mental health and counseling in the faculty, coordination of cultural and artistic activities of the student cultural centers and the student union of the faculty.

Mission and vision

Optimum provision of welfare, cultural and advisory services to students and esteemed employees of the Faculty and Institute of Nutrition and Food Industries in the direction of improving physical and mental health and cultural and social growth with emphasis on mutual thinking and participation of individuals.

Targets

Among the main goals of the Student and Cultural Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Nutrition Sciences and Food Industries, which are in line with the strategic policies of the Honorable Student and Cultural Vice-Chancellor of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, the following can be mentioned:
1-    promotion of beliefs and values ​​of Islamic-Iranian culture;
2-    empowering and increasing the level of awareness in social affairs;
3- Creating a suitable environment for healthy competition and organizational growth based on the principle of human dignity;
4- Effective participation of students in collective activities in order to create teamwork spirit and help by presenting their strategic opinions;
5- Special attention to the issue of professionalism and how to increase the level of students’ knowledge;
6-    Providing a suitable platform for the growth and flourishing of students’ talents in all dimensions;
7-    Identifying and empowering students and employees in cultural and sports fields;
8-    Holding educational-skill workshops in order to increase the ability and skills of people in various social, economic and cultural fields;
9-    Improving the level of mental health of students;
10- Increasing the participation of student centers and organizations in order to achieve cultural and social goals;
11- Promotion of cultural activities in order to improve students’ lifestyle;
12- Improvement of cultural, sports, religious and restaurant spaces;
13- Strengthening the sports culture among students and employees

Duties of the field of student affairs

Coordination of matters related to student loans, housing, essentials and purchase of goods, insurance and housing deposit for applicant students, settlement of accounts at the time of graduation, vaccination and student work.
